Fenton GARDEN OF EDEN Carnival Glass PLATE opalescent

  
LIGHT BLUE SATIN "Garden of Eden" was made in 1985 and is heavily embossed with the scene of Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden. It shows Adam and Eve with deer, bird and serpent when Eve reaches upward to pick the apple from the tree. The story comes to life in this bright colored plate. The artist Hal Reed has signed this plate which is located under the left front leg of the deer at the lower right bottom of the leg. Measures 8 inches in diameter.

Condition- no cracks or chips, some wear to the iridescent finish (see deer hindquarters, God's left arm) some wear on bottom of plate. These areas appear to be the result of being stacked with other plates.
